Description
Join us on Friday as we go from Piglet to Padlet. Padlet is a great tool for new folks teaching online for a variety of uses: generate and facilitate learning, thinking and celebrating.
"I wonder what Piglet is doing," thought Pooh. "I wish I were there to be doing it, too.” undefined A.A. Milne, Winnie-the-Pooh

Lisa Star will demonstrate how you can easily host a virtual wall for collaboration using Padlet.
“It's so much more friendly with two.”

Padlet is easy – free, privacy levels (which means you can use with no login all the way to full login control). It will be fun learning together.
“Would you mind coming with me, Piglet, in case they turn out to be Hostile Animals?”
undefined A.A. Milne

Sloan, Robin (2013)  Mr. Penumbra's 24-Hour Bookstore,Picador, New York, NY. (It's a novel, but it deals (colorfully and rivetingly) with the clash between so-called Old Knowledge (books) and New Knowledge (internet and other virtual forms of communication). Not only that, it's a great read--funny, swashbuckling, and serious by turns.)
